Big Data Surveillance

The primary funding of the Surveillance Studies Centre (SSC) is from the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada (SSHRC). We are currently working on a five-year Big Data Surveillance (BDS) project funded by a SSHRC Partnership Grant. The Big Data Surveillance project examines the relationship between big data and surveillance in three linked streams: security, marketing, and governance.
